Google AdCamp EMEA 2013 application is now live!

We look for the brightest in a range of fields, and the University Programmes team seeks to help students understand our business, as well as how their passions align with it. With this in mind, we wanted to personally let you know that the application has launched for Google AdCamp EMEA.

AdCamp site full 3-day programme at Google Dublin from 22nd to 25th of September 2013.  AdCamp EMEA  will include a collaborative curriculum focused on Google’s advertising sales operations, as well as an overview of products and insight into the advertising industry. AdCamp participants will also get the opportunity to meet with Googlers and interns, compete in an advertising case competition, and build a peer network through social activities in Dublin.

Selection process:

To apply, students must:

  • Be a current student pursuing a Bachelor's or Master’s degree.
  • Be a current student in a country in Europe, Middle-East or Africa.
  • Be graduating post 2014, with priority given to applicants graduating in 2015.
  • Demonstrate academic excellence and an explicit interest in sales and advertising disciplines.

Logistics:

  • The programme will start in the evening on Sun, 22-September, allowing travel to Dublin, Ireland in the morning on Sun, 22-September. The programme will end on the afternoon of Wed, 25-September, therefore travel home could be on the 25th in the evening or the 26th in the morning.
  • Travel and accommodation will be covered by Google.
  • EU citizens require a valid passport or national ID in order to travel to Ireland.
  • Non-EU citizen require a passport valid until at least 6 months after the event (27th of March 2014). If a visa is required, Google can provide a letter for participant to engage in the administrative process.

  • Please be prepared to submit your CV in English, a short essay and one reference from a professor, direct supervisor, or a mentor you have worked closely with in your school or community activities.
  • The deadline to submit the application is 30th of June 2013 . All decisions will be communicated to applicants by the end of July 2013.
