Are you ready for an unforgettable econometric experience?
The 6th edition of the Warsaw Econometric Challenge (WEC) will take place on April 25,
2026 – and we invite you to be part of it!

What is WEC?
WEC is a unique competition where teams of students conduct in-depth data analysis and
prepare a scientific paper – all within just 24 hours.

Who can participate?
The challenge is open to all undergraduate and graduate students from any university.
Form a team of up to 4 people and take on the challenge together!

Why join?

  • Work on an engaging and thought-provoking topic.
  • Compete with ambitious students and test your skills under time pressure.

Prizes

  • 1st place: 2000 PLN per team member
  • 2nd place: 1000 PLN per team member
  • 3rd place: 500 PLN per team member

All teams submitting a paper will receive participation certificates.

This year’s edition is co-organized by the Faculty of Economic Sciences at the University of
Warsaw and ReSpo.Vision.
