Information on the Processing of Personal Data
1. Data Controller. The controller of your personal data is SGH Warsaw School of Economics, with its registered office at al. Niepodległości 162, 02-554 Warsaw, Poland. 2. Data Protection Officer. The Data Controller has appointed a Data Protection Officer, who can be contacted via email at: iod@sgh.waw.pl. 3. Purpose and Legal Basis of Processing. The personal data of users of the SGH Career Service are processed for the purpose of enabling the use of services available through the online SGH Career Service platform. The legal basis for the processing of personal data is Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR (processing is necessary for the performance of a contract concluded by accepting the Terms of Service of the SGH Career Service). If you choose to subscribe to the SGH Career Service Newsletter, the legal basis for the processing of your data is Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR, i.e., your consent to the processing of personal data. 4. Voluntary Provision of Data. Providing personal data is voluntary; however, it is necessary for the purposes indicated in point 3. 5. Data Recipients. If the Data Controller uses services provided by other entities, personal data may be disclosed to them under data processing agreements. Such entities will be obliged to maintain the confidentiality of the processed data. 6. Information on Automated Decision-Making. No decisions concerning you will be made based solely on automated processing, within the meaning of Article 22 of the GDPR. 7. Data Retention Period. Personal data will be processed for as long as your account in the SGH Career Service remains active. If you subscribe to the SGH Career Service Newsletter, your data will be processed until you withdraw your consent. 8. Rights Related to Data Processing. You have the right to access your data, request their rectification, restriction of processing, as well as deletion in cases provided for by law. You may withdraw your consent to the processing of personal data at any time. This will not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to the withdrawal of consent. 9. Right to Lodge a Complaint. You have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office if you believe that the processing of your personal data violates the GDPR.
