We know the winning slogans in the ‘Slogan for a good start’ competition

The aim of the ‘Slogan for a good start’ competition, organised for the first time in 2025, was to select a slogan related to the beginning of academic life - expectations towards studies or the university, the process of studying, motivation to study, students' dreams and goals, expectations for the future after graduation.

The competition was aimed at students starting their studies at our university in the first year of bachelor's or master's programmes. It was part of the ‘Welcome Survey’, which aimed to find out the expectations of students admitted to the first year of studies at SGH regarding their studies at our university.

During the meeting on 13 November, the competition jury selected the winning slogans. The main slogan chosen was ‘SGH - Gateway to Excellence’, authored by Tkachenko Volodymyr, a first-year master's student. The slogan ‘One beginning, endless opportunities’, authored by Armenuhi Knyazyan, also a first-year master's student, received an honourable mention.

The jury consisted of: Dr Dorota Niedziółka, Prof. SGH - Vice-Rector for Development, Maria Karaś - Director of the Marketing and Brand Development Office, and David Bednarczyk - representative of the SGH Student Council Presidium. Justyna Kozera, Director of the SGH Career and Alumni Relations Centre, which organised the competition, also took part in the jury meeting.
