Privacy policy and legal challenge

Career Service privacy policy

 

  1. All data collected during the registration procedure, while creating a cv, during the registration for events and publication of announcements shall be used solely for the purposes connected to providing the users of SGH Career Service with job offers, internship and apprenticeship offers and ensuring job advisory for students, faculty and SGH alumni as well as for statistical purposes and shall not be shared with any third parties without the consent of the person to whom they belong.
  2. During the registration and afterwards, via the user panel, the user shall be able to give or halt his/her consent for the following: 
    1. sharing data from his/her profile and cv with verified and registered employers, interested in recruiting SGH students and alumni;
    2. using the data of the user's participation in recruitment activities advertised on SGH Career Service for statistical purposes;
    3. receiving Career Service newsletters to the address indicated at registration
  3. The Career Service shall not process, share with external entities (any persons unauthorised to administer the Career Service or not being employees of of the Career and Alumni Relations Centre) or use for marketing purposes any data provided by its users. 
  4. The contact data provided by the users shall only be used for the purpose of keeping in touch with users by the administrators of the Career Service or employees of the Career and Alumni Relations Centre in order to keep the users informed of the selected university events and celebrations or send to them some portal system messages or the newsletter.
  5. Data collected while corresponding with users shall be used by the Career Service solely for the purpose of answering the users' queries.
  6. Data obtained based on the tools of Google Analytics (IP address, domain) shall be used solely for the purpose of running viewership statistics of the Career Service.
  7. The privacy policy of other external websites, the links for which may be found in the Career Service, is not regulated by the privacy policy provisions of the Career Service.
  8. We shall reserve the right to change the aforementioned privacy policy by publishing a new privacy policy on this Career Service website.

The online SGH Career (Service) and any content held thereby, document templates, text files, graphic files and IT solutions shall be the property of the Warsaw School of Economics and shall be under legal protection of the Act of 4 February 1994 on Copyright and the Related Rights (Journal of Laws No. 24 item 83, as amended).

 

Legal challenge

The copying, altering and using of any of the above mentioned content, templates, materials or solutions without the consent of the Service owner shall be prohibited and may result in legal prosecution.

The Service owner shall not be held liable for any potential damage, direct, indirect, intentional, accidental or consequential related to the use of the Service.

The Service owner shall use best effort to ensure the content published in the Service remains reliable and credible, but shall not be held liable for the consequences of using the posted publications or templates.
